Dishes include vegetable herbal soup with crabmeat and lemon basil leaves; grilled marinated local beef with lemon grass and fresh vegetables; stir-fried assorted vegetable with oyster sauce; and white gourd soup with coconut milk and lemon grass.

At 2,100 baht per person and 999 baht for a child aged six to 12, guests will be treated to a line-up of Thai and Mediterran­ean dishes. Seafood dishes include Maine lobster; Fine de Claire oysters; Australian and New Zealand mussels; and Alaskan and Chilean crab. October and November: Elements restaurant presents French-Japanese dishes prepared with organic and sustainabl­e ingredient­s from artisan producers. Dishes include black tiger prawn edamame soup with prawn Chantilly and celery leaves; watercress soup with poached free-range egg and cepe cream; smoked trout beignets with asparagus sauce and trout caviar; roasted free-range chicken stuffed with foie gras and truffles served with daikon petits farcis and mushroom duxcelle; whole duck roasted with sancho pepper and honey, root vegetables and jus; organic beef fillet wrapped in smoked bacon, portobello mushroom and onions; and artisanal goats cheese grilled with chestnuts, soba, ume shu and herb flowers. October: 25 Degrees Burgers Bar recommends surf n’ turf burger. It features fresh crabmeat salad with wasabi mayonnaise, deep-fried shrimp with sweet chilli sauce and a succulent ground beef sirloin patty on soft garlic and tarragon brioche bun with avocado and arugula at 380 baht.

October and November: Attico Italian restaurant presents special autumn dishes prepared with wild game and truffles. The dishes incorporat­e wild meat such as pheasant and rabbit with truffles and violet artichoke. Also featured is homemade tagliolini pasta with Italian sausage in truffle cream.

October: La Tavola & Wine Bar recommends a special menu prepared with whole pheasant from The Royal Project. The poultry will be stuffed with sautéed green apples, celery and onion before being roasted and served with baby carrots, garlic-buttered Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, crème de cassis and Italian ciabatta bread. Price is 950 baht per dish.

October: Feast’s newly revamped family-friendly Sunday brunch buffet features live cooking stations with a selection of prime seafood such as lobster, Alaskan king crab legs, French oysters, Japanese scallops and king river prawns, and a kids zone full of games, toys, shows and surprises. Prices are 2,000 baht net per person. Children up to nine years old eat free.

Salathip Thai restaurant recommends a vegetarian set menu at 990 baht per set. Dishes include pomelo salad with crispy vegetable; Thai coconut mushroom and tofu soup; steamed cabbage with tofu; corn cake with chilli, garlic and holy basil; and curried vegetable custard.

October: Basil Thai restaurant recommends a selection of authentic regional menus from the cuisines of Thailand’s North and the Central Plains. Prices start from 1,500 baht per set. Dishes include young jackfruit and pork curry; spicy freerange chicken and taro soup; seared scallops with spicy green mango salad, lemongrass and chilli jam; and crispy sea bass with fried shallots and dried chilli with tamarind sauce.

Until Oct 28: Brasserie Europa buffet restaurant presents a range of premium vegetarian dishes including assorted vegetarian sushi, Chinese-style mixed vegetable soup, stir-fried tofu with sweet and sour sauce, and vegetarian stir-fried noodles. Prices are 1,225 baht per person for lunch buffet and 2,400 baht per person for Sunday brunch.

U Sathorn Bangkok (02-119-4899)

October: J’aime restaurant recommends new lunch sets priced at 1,100 baht net per person for five courses and 990 baht net per person for three courses. Dishes include mango gazpacho with fried quinoa; slow-cooked egg with glazed root vegetables and beet foam; roasted grouper with lemon, black olive and ginger marmalade; and free range chicken with potato mousseline and white wine jus; and almond crème brûlée with riceberry declinatio­n dessert.

October: The Twist Bar & Bistro celebrates the vegetarian month with an array of vegetarian delicacies such as black and white quinoa salad with cherry tomato, white sesame, pumpkin seeds and olive oil lime dressing; Italian vegetable soup of zucchini, onion, leek, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflowe­r, tomato coulis and Italian basil; veggie burger with tofu and mushroom patty, tomato and salad greens served with trio sauce; vegetable lasagne with béchamel saffron sauce and mushroom risotto with Parmesan cheese and truffle oil.
