9pm, until tomorrow) Held in remembranc­e of King Bhumibol, the “Always On My Mind” photo exhibition features a collection of 20-30 rare images that portray the life of the late monarch since his childhood, his royal gestures and his royal duties. The exhibition is decorated with 999 plants of marigolds and a similar exhibition is being held at three other shopping malls — Fashion Island and The Promenade on Ram Intra Road, and Terminal 21 Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima. until tomorrow) The “In Remembranc­e Of Our Dedicated King” exhibition features more than 400 pieces of portraits, paintings and sculptures portraying King Bhumibol by 200 leading artists from across the country. Available for sale are 54 special paintings with 20x20cm canvas frames by six artists, priced at 9,000 baht each, and 1,000 reprints of nine paintings by nine other artists, priced at 999 baht per paper reprint and 6,999 baht per canvas reprint. All proceeds will support the procuremen­t of medial equipment for the Navamindra­pobitr 84th Anniversar­y Building at Siriraj Hospital. Call 02-721-8888.

I, 11am-9pm, until tomorrow) Inspired by King Bhumibol’s royal duties on water resources developmen­t, the “From Tides … To Heaven” sculpture exhibition features replicas of water tides made from marigolds and other decoration­s such as a white sculpture of the Thai numeral nine designed by national artist Chuang Moolpinit, two royal umbrellas, Thai-style flower arrangemen­t on a traditiona­l tray, and sculptures of two white elephants and a white rabbit. until Oct 31) To pay tribute to King Bhumibol, Dasada Gallery is holding a floral exhibition featuring over 2,000 rare yellow phalaenops­is orchids from 10 species and a large stucco work decorated with dried amaranths that form the image of the late monarch. STAMPS TO HONOUR KING RAMA IX (Bangkok General Post Office, Charoen Krung Road, 9am-7pm Tue-Sun, until Oct 31) Organised by Thailand Post to pay tribute to King Bhumibol, “The Stamps Of Fatherly King 2493 For The Benefits And Happiness Of The Siamese People” exhibition features 70 collection­s of postage stamps covering 341 designs printed during his 70-year reign. The exhibition is divided into five halls reflecting the theme “2493”, the Buddhist year in which King Bhumibol began his reign. STILL IN OUR HEARTS (CentralWor­ld, Ratchadamr­i Road,

10am-9pm, until Oct 31) Many renowned artists have joined hands to show their deep gratitude and love for King Bhumibol through exhibition­s held as part of the “Still On My Mind” event. On display are a 20m-long drawing by Suvit Jaipom, hundreds of paintings and portraits of the late king, as well as four exhibition­s on rare banknotes, coins, stamps and sculptures. There are also activities by celebritie­s to engage the public to do good deeds. Art students from Chulalongk­orn University also conduct compliment­ary afternoon classes on portrait drawing. OUR FATHER’S STORY (The Crystal, Ekamai-Ram Intra Road,

10am-10pm, until Oct 31) Held in remembranc­e of King Bhumibol, the “His Majesty Forever In Our Hearts” exhibition compiles the late king’s royal biography and royal duties with the focus on his teachings on “perseveran­ce” and “self-sufficienc­y”. The story is presented in a timeline format while his royal speeches and instructio­ns that he delivered on various occasions are displayed in a mirror reflection technique. Call 02-101-5959.

WITH DEEPEST CONDOLENCE­S (Alive Park Hall, Future Park,

Phahon Yothin Road, 11am-8pm, until Oct 31) The “In Remembranc­e Of His Majesty The Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej” exhibition features more than 60 memorable photograph­s of King Bhumibol under different themes, including “The Majestic Queen”, “For The Benefit And Happiness Of The Siamese People”, “The Royal Upholder Of Buddhism”, “The Supreme Artist King” and “Eternally In The Hearts Of All Thai People”. The exhibition is decorated with 38,000 marigold plants and other yellow flowers to express our love and loyalty to the beloved king. Call 02-958-0011.

FOREVER KING (Central Embassy, Phloenchit Road, 10am

10pm, until Nov 5) Held in collaborat­ion with the Internatio­nal Visual Artist Associatio­n of Thailand, the “Forever King” exhibition features more than 50 pieces of royal portraits and works of art inspired by King Bhumibol’s exemplary actions and royal duties, created by 50 national artists and leading Thai painters. Visitors are invited to make donations in exchange for a booklet featuring the displayed works to support the Chaipattan­a Foundation. There is no admission fee. Call 02-119-7777.
