Cat Expo returns with big music

The Cat Expo will return with more than 100 artists who will be performing at the Wonder World Fun Park this Saturday and Sunday from 4pm-11.30pm.

Held under the theme “Small People, Big Music” by Cat Radio station, the fourth edition of the music festival will gather both new and familiar faces of all music genres, who will take turns performing on five stages throughout the two days.

The line-up of establishe­d acts includes Stamp, Tattoo Colour, Armchair, Paradox, Scrubb, Lomosonic, Hugo, POP, V Violette, The Toys, Noi from Pru, Flure, T-Bone, Greasy Café, Pae Arak and the Pisat Band, Wan Thanakrit, Saliva Bastards, The Richman Toy, Boy Trai, Brandnew Sunset, Yellow Fang, and Yokee Playboy.

Among the new faces will be Summer Dress, Electric Neon Lamp, Inspirativ­e, Bomb At Track, Moving And Cut, Seal Pillow, Petite Yada, Dead Flower, Penny Time, Zero Hero, De Flamingo and Hers.

Besides musical performanc­es, the festival will be featuring what is said to be one of the largest music markets around, with all participat­ing artists selling their products, including newly released, old and rare songs in the form of tapes, CDs and vinyl records.

Fans also can select their favourite pieces of written stories, photograph­s and drawings recently produced by the 100 artists, and put them together into a book. Another highlight is the Cat Radio booth, decorated with unique visual graphics by world-renowned Kor.Bor.Vor. visual group.
