Developer AP has partnered with Muji to focus on Japanese-style functional living spaces.

SET-listed developer AP Thailand Plc has teamed up with world-famous lifestyle brand Muji to introduce a Japanese-style living space.

The cooperation melds AP’s expertise in living spaces with Muji’s prowess in function-oriented product design for moderate self-sufficient, earth-friendly living that harmonise work life and personal life, said Vittakarn Chandavimol, chief of business group for condominiums at AP Thailand Plc.

The company has chosen Life Pinklao, the first and only ready-to-move-in highend condominium in the heart of the Pinklao area, as the first project for the cooperation.

Life Pinklao, a 23-storey condominium complex offering 803 units, occupies 4.3 rai and is located only 40 metres from the Blue Line’s Bang Yi Khan station.

Prices at Life Pinklao start at 2.49 million baht.

“With more than 25 years of experience to our credit, we understand how people live in the city and how they choose to pursue their lives. Our expertise lies in designing quality living spaces where people can live together harmoniously,” said Mr Vittakarn.

“As designers, maximising every square inch of space, especially in condos, is allimportant, and we need to make the best use of it. We plan to use our expertise in space management in combination with Muji, a function expert like no other.

“In addition to the Japanese concept of product strength and simplicity, Muji’s design culture is to pay attention to every step of the design process in order to cater to the lifestyles of modern Thais, while making every square inch of space count.”

Akihiro Kamogari, managing director of Muji Thailand, said the company’s growth over the years is based on a development idea focused on conceptual clarity.

Under the compact life concept, products are designed for maximum efficiency for multiple practical purposes.

The company’s strength lies in the use of natural materials and discrete colours for products. This allows the interior design to shine while promoting a simple sustainable lifestyle adaptable to individual purposes, he said.
