Hipsters paradise at The Street Ratchada

-

Good news for night-owl hipsters! The “Street Festival” will return with a series of fun-filled activities that will keep them from counting sheep on the first floor of The Street Ratchada, Ratchadaphisek Road, from tomorrow to Sunday.

Held under the “Sleepless Together” theme, the second edition of the festival will feature the Milky Way Installation, which employs holography to form colourful, three-dimensional shapes in the vast area in front of the shopping mall.

There will be DIY workshops presenting creative ideas for home and garden decoration by My Home magazine and Grand Unity at the “Sleepless Activity” zone where participants will learn to create mini vertical gardens, letter lamps and foldable paper lamps. The nearby “Sleepless Market” zone will gather fashion and lifestyle items for shopping sprees.

The “Sleepless Play” zone will feature cool activities from Wishbeer Home Bar and Casa Lapin restaurant, as well as sport activities — table tennis, football and board games among others.

Sleepless people are invited to chill out at the “Sleepless Place” where they can enjoy reading favourite books from Nai In bookstore, shop for copyright products of Charlie Brown and Friends and taste gelato ice cream from the Charlie Brown Cafe, and learn workout tips from Jet Fitness.

The outdoor “Sleepless Music” zone is reserved for concerts by famous acts — Yes’sir Day tomorrow, Supol “Bel” Puasirirak on Saturday and Chanakan “Atom” Ratanaudom on Sunday, all starting at 10pm.

The first 500 visitors will receive a souvenir. The festival will run from 10am to midnight. There is no admission fee.
