Following their sold-out Bangkok debut concert three years ago, Irish pop-rock trio The Script will return to take the Kingdom by storm one more time at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, on April 28.

Presented by BEC-Tero Entertainment, the “The Script Live In Bangkok” concert is the first chance for local fans to see them perform their latest album Freedom Child, which topped the UK chart and scored them their fourth UK No.1 album after its release last September.

Described as a “feel-good summer tune”, its lead single, Rain, was on the UK Top 20 Chart and finally made its way into the top 10 on iTunes. Its video has so far got nearly 30 million views on YouTube.

Hailed as one of the world’s most successful bands, The Script have sold over 29 million records. Comprising Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power, the 18-yearold group has scored triple platinum albums, all of which topped the UK chart. They also have a huge following in the US where they have 4x platinum-selling singles under their belt.

The trio are embarking on their Freedom Child Tour, which includes tour dates across Europe starting next month. Bangkok will be the last city in Asia they visit before they head to South Africa and then back to Europe.

Tickets for the Bangkok concert start at 2,000 baht and will be available for public sale on Saturday from 10am onwards from all Thai Ticket Major outlets and at thaiticketmajor. com or call 02-262-3838.
