Road, today at 5pm) “The Spirit Of The Warrior” is the new theme for the second edition of the “Transmission Festival Bangkok” featuring a full artist line-up of Aly & Fila, Ben Nicky, Ferry Corsten, Jordan Suckley, Key4050, Markus Schulz and The Thrillseekers, with warm-up by local talent DJ LonSkii. MANOHRA AND PETER PAN (Kad Theatre of Kad Suan Kaew, Chiang Mai, tomorrow at noon
and 3.30pm) The ATOD Children and Youth Development Association presents “Manorah Fantasy & Peter Pan 2018”, a double-bill performance of a 30-minute Manohra ballet with music composed by the late King Bhumibol and a 75-minute performance of Peter Pan featuring various styles of dances including jazz and modern and contemporary dance. They will be performed by a cast of international awardwinning ballet dancers and 300 dance students from Chiang Mai Ballet Academy. Proceeds will go to 48th Pansa Chalermprakiat School under the royal patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The players will find themselves confronted with a wide range of political issues. The topics include precarious working conditions as in Sunset (2015); the aftermath of armed conflict as in This War Of Mine (2014); migration and refugees as in Papers,

Monday-Friday, until May 11) Held in collaboration with the Ssamzisarang Korean Boudoir Craft Academy to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Korea, the “Jogakbo: The Handicraft of Harmony” exhibition features almost 80 pieces of jogakbo or traditional patchwork used to create domestic wrapping cloths from scraps of leftover fabrics.
