Canine carnival should be howling good time
If you are happy being around cute dogs, you will love the “CDC Dog Carnival Ep.Hitz Fun Run for Friends”, which will be held at the Oval Plaza of Crystal Design Center on Friday to Sunday from 11am to 8pm.
Sponsored by 95.5 Virgin Hitz Radio, the canine carnival will bring talented celebrity dogs to engage in many fun activities and present a variety of pet products from chic pet shops.
This is a chance to see P’Max and Anfield, two Siberian huskies widely known in social media, show off their talents and learn about their lives from their keepers on Saturday at 4pm. Then, a troop of corgis from Ban Ngaeng King, Little Legs and The Corgi Family will also show off their talents at 5pm.
The highlight, however, is the fun run, which is open to only 100 pairs of dogs and their owners. They will run 350m to help raise funds for the Soi Dog Foundation to support stray dogs and cats.
The race will take place on Sunday at 4pm. Every pair who can make it to the finish line will receive a commemorative medal, with prizes being offered for most photogenic, congeniality and best fancy costume. This is also a chance to meet three celebrity golden retrievers — Maquid, Mamiew and Vigo — who will meet and greet dog lovers before the race.
The three-day festival will conclude with a mini concert by Earth Patravee and Mean band, starting at 5.30pm. Crystal Design Center is on Ekamai-Ram Intra Road.
