CELEBRATOR­Y EXHIBITION (Hall of Fame, M floor of Siam Paragon, Rama I, 10am-9pm, until May 21) The “Siam Paragon Celebrates The Royal Wedding In Collaborat­ion With British Embassy Bangkok” photo exhibition features impressive photos portraying the love story between Prince Harry and fiancée Meghan Markle and historic photos of the royal wedding ceremonies of the British Royal Family. Also displayed are wedding cakes with unique decorating by Harrods and nine British and Thai brands, high-end RollsRoyce vehicles that have been trusted by the British Royal Family, and a collection of lovestory inspired diamond jewellery from 16 leading diamond brands. RUSSIAN ICONS (Room 261-262, River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24, 10am-8pm, until

May 25) Presented by the Embassy of the Russian Federation, the “Russian-Thai Cultural Relations: The 120th Anniversar­y” exhibition will showcase selected icons and religious works of art on loan from the Nevyansk Icon Museum, which is Russia’s first private museum of icons. The selection covers the entire life of the Nevyansk icon from the early 18th century to the early 20th century. The opening ceremony will include a speech by the Russian ambassador and a performanc­e by the Orthodox Church Choir. Call 02-237-7608.

WONDER OF NINJA HOUSE (Westgate Hall, 4th floor of CentralPla­za Westgate, Nonthaburi,

10am-2pm and 2-7pm, until May 31) The “Ninja Maze … The Big Adventure” exhibition is the first chance to witness the famous Iga Ninja Village outside Japan. Divided into Family and Adult zones, the interactiv­e exhibition features a typical ninja house full of escape routes, hidden doors and traps. Children will be taken on an exciting adventure while testing their ninja skills in eight rooms while 10 rooms are awaiting adults to explore the secrets of how the ninja are able to infiltrate and escape undetected. MADSAKI’S SHOWCASE (Level G of Central Embassy, Phloenchit Road, 10am-10pm, until June 3) “Combinatio­n Platter” is the Bangkok debut art showcase by Japanese celebrated artist Madsaki whose work portrays street cultures, cultural landmarks as well as his own culturally mixed upbringing. Best known for paintings that question the premise of art and what people value, his artwork conjures up the spirit of urban graffiti, masterpiec­es by the likes of Picasso, popular Hollywood films, and iconic characters like Doraemon and SpongeBob Square Pants. FROM TRASH TO GOLD (TCDC Bangkok’s Gallery, Grand Postal Building, Charoen Krung Road, 10.30am-9pm Tuesday-Sunday, until July 22) “Pure Gold — Upcycled! Upgraded!” is a touring exhibition to propose current upcycling approaches for value creation. Presented by ifa, an institute for cultural and internatio­nal relations in Germany, it compiles 76 exhibits from 53 designers under seven curators from around the world, revealing diversity in value creation and appreciati­on within diverse contexts. The exhibition is divided into two complement­ary parts — a physical and material exhibition and a virtual platform for dialogue, discussion and storage of knowledge.
