Tech leaders to speak at networking event

-

Interested start-ups looking to go regional are invited to come and listen to what three top tech speakers — from Grab, Omise and Zanroo — have to share on their own experience at Gaysorn Urban Resort on Thursday, 6.30-9pm.

“Going Regional On A Budget” is the topic for “Spend The Night With”, an exclusive networking event and talk presented by the Great Room and Bangkok Entrepreneurs.

With worldwide business domination created one regional market at a time, successfully going regional means being able to first understand, enter and become a leader in local markets.

So, what does a business setting out on a regional journey need before taking off and navigating the twists and turns of their markets to reach its destination? There may be unexpected pitfalls and obstacles, as well as magnificent pay-offs, along the way.

Speaking at the fireside chat will be Vee Charununsiri, head of business development for GrabTaxi (Thailand); Don Harinsut, COO and co-founder of Omise; and Pornpat Wattananiyomkajohn, managing director of Zanroo.

They will share their insights on how to understand target markets, eyeing up the competition and market trends, as well as

other tips on how to not only go regional, but do so on a budget.

The talk will be conducted in English. There is no admission fee but seats are limited. Gaysorn Urban Resort is on the 19th floor of Gaysorn Tower, Ratchaprasong Road.
