SHEDDING LIGHT ON ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
To celebrate its role in scientific research development and driving the country’s industry with synchrotron technology during the past decade, the Synchrotron Light Research Institute (SLRI) is holding an exhibition titled “10 Years Of Success Behind Thailand’s Economy” at Centara Grand at CentralPlaza Lardprao Hotel, on Friday from 9.30am-6pm.
Held under the theme of “Better Business With Science And Synchrotron Technology”, the oneday event will help everyone to better understand synchrotron light, or electromagnetic radiation, and learn more about the institute’s work and success over the past 10 years.
Highlights include afternoon talks with guest speakers from various fields who will be sharing ideas and experiences regarding synchrotron light as well as the importance of science and technology. Among them are Assoc Prof Dr Weerapong Paesuwan, who will talk about “Synchrotron As The Light Of Siam”, Assist Prof Dr Akkharawit Kanjanaopas who will touch on “Trend Of Food Innovation” and Assoc Prof Dr Jessada Denduangboripant who will discuss “Be Creative, Be Fun With Science”.
