FLOWER FESTIVAL FOR THE QUEEN

THE QUEEN OF TROPICAL RAINFOREST 2018 / THE EMPORIUM / UNTIL AUG 13

The Emporium and EmQuartier in collaboration with various partners such as Play La Ploen Flora Park in Buri Ram, The Ministry of Commerce and Embassy of the Netherlands have organised a siam tulip festival to honour Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 86th birthday and Thai Mother’s Day. It will be a big floral fanfare as you witness the 7m-tall installation constructed with a variety of Siam tulips (or krachiao in Thai) and other flowers and plants to depict an iconic scene from Ramakien where monkey god Hanuman protecting Rama’s pavilion by holding it in its mouth.
