- The High Jump Championship.

The BCC Hall on the 5th floor of CentralPlaza Lardprao will be transformed into a mini war zone for four-legged rabble-rousers during the “Pet Expo Championship 2018”, which will kick off this Thursday and run until Sunday from 10am to 8pm.

Held under the “Friends’ Battle Fun” theme by NCC Exhibition Organizer, the four-day event will feature four major competitions conducted according to international standards on the weekend. This is the first time the official “FlyBall Championship” will be held, in which dogs race each other and jump across obstacles to get the ball and bring it back to the starting line.

There will also be a “Dog Agility Championship”, which involves 10 devices, the “High Jump Championship” where dogs will have to jump above a cross bar that will get higher with each round, and the “ZigZag Championship”, which requires them to run along posts erected in a zigzag pattern.

Amusing games for both canines and their owners will include “dog collecting a ball”, “dog staying still”, obstacle races, magic carpet, and “fun with four-legged friends” games.

Other pet zones will see a display of various species of furry rabbits, cavies and chinchillas, as well as rodent competitions. Exotic pets will also be showcased with experts on hand to offer advice.

Thonglor Pet Hospital and Rattanatibeth Referral Animal Hospital will provide free health check-up and counselling services for dogs, cats, rodents and exotic pets. More than 130 shops will also be there to present special offers on a variety of products and services for pets.
