NEW RULES FOR MUSIC

-

English pop star Dua Lipa will give her Bangkok debut concert at GMM Live House, 8th floor of CentralWorld, Ratchadamri Road, on Sept 17 at 8pm.

Presented by Live Nation BEC-Tero, “Dua Lipa Live in Bangkok 2018” is part of her fourth headlining concert tour, “The Self-Titled Tour”, which kicked off last October and is set to conclude this December, covering more than a hundred shows including sold-out gigs in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo.

Thai fans can expect to be treated with her smash hits — Hotter Than Hell, Blow Your Mind (Mwah), Scared To Be Lonely, New Rules and IDGAF — that have rapidly established the 22-year-old pop singer/songwriter as a rising star.

Born in London to Albanian parents, Lipa moved to Kosovo with her family when she was 11 before she decided to move back to London to follow her dream of becoming a singer four years later.

She signed with Warner Music Group in 2015 and released her first single New Love soon after. She then released her self-titled debut album last June. It includes seven singles that have climbed into many music charts all over Europe and in the US.

Lipa has also won a string of awards, including two Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. With over 3 million daily streams, she is listed among the top 10 artists on Spotify and has already accumulated 3 billion total streams across platforms.

Tickets cost 2,000 and 3,000 baht and can be purchased from Thai Ticket Major outlets (visit thaiticketmajor.com or call 02-262-3838). Visit bectero.com.
