SON OF YINGLUCK AD­VISER FALLS TO DEATH

POL­I­TICS: The only son of Gen Pal­lop Pin­ma­nee, an ex-ad­viser to for­mer prime min­is­ter Yingluck Shi­nawa­tra, fell from a car park to his death at a shop­ping mall in Bangkok’s Bang Kapi district yes­ter­day, said Pol Col Krit­sana Pat­tanacharoen, deputy po­lice spokesman.

Res­cuers were un­able to re­sus­ci­tate Ratcharot Pin­ma­nee at the scene, Pol Col Krit­sana said.

Ac­cord­ing to an ini­tial in­ves­ti­ga­tion, the 51-year-old had parked his car on the sec­ond floor be­fore walk­ing up to the eighth floor and jump­ing.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors have not yet con­cluded the cause of his fall.

Ratcharot’s sis­ter told po­lice she had no idea what might have hap­pened to her older brother lead­ing up to the in­ci­dent, es­pe­cially as he had only re­cently be­gun pre­par­ing for a trip abroad.
