Pair on murder rap over drug money

-

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN: Two men charged with killing another man who owed them money for drugs were taken to re-enact the crime in Thap Sakae district yesterday.

Yossap Phuangphet, 37, and Narong Rodcharoen, 32, were arrested for allegedly clubbing Sahapab Khongkham, 45, to death before setting the body alight at a palm oil farm on June 2.

Police said Sahapab met the two suspects at his farm. The two men had only been recently released from prison for drug offences and allegedly came to the farm to demand that Sahapab pay them three million baht of drug money he owed them.

However, police said the men could not settle their dispute and the two suspects bludgeoned Sahapab to death with large pieces of wood before setting him on fire.
