Musiq Soulchild is the stage name of Taalib Johnson, 42, who started his career as a teenager in Philahe delphia, where built up a reputation as a talented singer andbeat boxer.

His talents across a range of musical styles — R&B, soul, funk, blues, jazz and gospel — earned him the nickname “Musiq”.
