Tomorrow is Chinese New Year’s day of leisure (yes, it’s actually three-day long). It’s only fitting that we rounded up parties that you can spend your ang pao on (after having a family gathering in the morning, obvi). Gong Xi Fat Cai, everybody!

Kick-off CNY on a wet and wild note at So Pool Party at So/ Bangkok (So Sofitel Bangkok). FooJohn joins forces with Space Time to celebrate CNY on Jan 25 in Chinatown. “Space Time: Lunar Ball at Foo John” will be a night packed with groovy music and dancing in jazz bar setting. Music-wise, DJ Takamichi of Offline Disco Club and Space Time’s Keith Edward play vinyl disco. Reveries present Black Loops tomorrow night at Iconic Studios. Expect the full spectrum of house music from Toy Tonics’ Black Loops, Yippiee’s Boris Rubin and Mustache’s Linus Rylander. Soc’Mel complement­s the night with Italian food. That’s not all. A free “After Reveries” after-party at Luna Lounge on Sukhumvit 22 will feature Pati Mala and V. Alarik from midnight into the wee hours.
