Driving tourists away

Due to flight cancellations (yes plural), I was unable to leave Thailand as originally planned and had a five-day overstay. But despite the virus and the extenuating circumstances it has created, I was billed for a six-day overstay upon leaving the kingdom.

Don’t worry, Thailand, I promise it was the last overstay — in fact, it was my last stay. You are driving all your tourists away. Enjoy my last 3,000-baht overstay fine.
