Let’s see some action

Reading about the thousands of fires still going on in the North making the air there life-threatening for millions of people, it occurs to me that the head of the army, instead of wasting his time staging meaningless publicity stunts here in Bangkok, might actually go to the North to see what the army could do about those fires, so that he might actually accomplish something useful before he retires.

Or is this too much to ask of an old man who can barely creep along in a hazmat suit?
