PRESS BRIEFINGS
TUESDAY: The Thai National Shippers’ Council is holding a press conference to present the latest updates on the export situation for March 2020. The session will take place on Tuesday from 10.30am to 1pm at Meeting Room 1 on the 32nd floor of Lumpini Tower Rama 4. To comply with the government’s policy to prevent the spread of the virus, the TNSC will also hold a press conference on Google Hangouts that can be joined through the Chrome browser or mobile devices. SEMINARS
FRIDAY: The Business Matching agency under the Department of Investment and Trade Promotion and the Federation of Thai Industries are holding a free online seminar on basic knowledge needed for exports. The seminar is on May 8 from 1.30pm to 4pm.
SUNDAY: Investment Knowledge SSF and RMF, a free seminar by the Stock Exchange of Thailand, takes place Sunday, May 10 from 9am to 12pm. The Facebook Live seminar is to give
participants an idea of the conditions and techniques for investing in Super Savings Funds, Special Savings Funds and Retirement Mutual Funds to save on tax. Registration can be made at www.set.or.th/education.

MONDAY: Will Covid-19 and its aftermath fundamentally change the media, in terms of approaches to reporting, standards, regulation and even mode
of survival? To mark World Press Freedom Day, the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand will convene a panel of experts and media practitioners in Asia and the US for a livestream discussion at 7pm. “Media under Covid19: Adapt to survive? Livestream discussion” will be live-streamed on the FCCT Facebook page, Facebook.com/FCCThailand.
TUESDAY: The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand is organising a videoconference on Facebook Live.
At “Mental Health and Covid-19 Pandemic with Bangkok Hospital”, healthcare experts from Bangkok Hospital will provide an interactive discussion on mental health and wellness, with topics including coping with your feelings and mental health during the pandemic, keeping up with healthy routines and setting limitations on news and social media to prevent information overload. The videoconference is free for AmCham members.
SATURDAY: Real estate consultant Nexus Property Marketing is organising a Facebook Live event to present deals on condominiums from more than 30 companies. There are 100 readyto-move-in projects and more than 1,500 units in the price range of 1 million-20 million baht.
