Ten deputies chosen at PPRP party meeting

>>The ruling Palang Pracharath Party has appointed 10 new deputy party leaders and replaced its spokesmen.

The deputy leaders are Santi Promphat, Thamanat Prompow, Suriya Jungrungre­angkit, Nataphol Teepsuwan, Somsak Thepsutin, Buddhipong­se Punnakanta, Virat Ratanasate, Niphan Sirithorn, Paiboon Nititawan and Suchart Chomklin.

The deputy leaders were delegated specific tasks to supervise such as the party’s operations, communicat­ion and public relations, personnel developmen­t, the party’s parliament­ary affairs, legal matters and complaints directed at the party.

The appointmen­ts were decided at the party’s meeting yesterday, in which Chaiwut Thanakaman­usorn and Sorawut Nuengjamno­ng were named deputy secretary-generals. The meeting also chose a new team of spokespeop­le led by Patcharin Samsiripon­g. The deputies are Pailin Thiensuwan, Pimporn Pornputipa­n and Santhapoj Suksrimuan­g.

Thanakorn Wangboonko­ngchana, a former PPRP spokesman, said the job must be handled with sensitivit­y and tact.

Appointed as deputy party directors are Pai Lik and Pakhin Sommitthan­akul.
