Jaras Lab: Clean Energy Learning Centre for Everyone is inviting everyone to its third exhibition, “Future Of Clean Energy”, which is running until Aug 30.

The exhibition will be a space for everyone to learn and exchange knowledge about clean energy sources that the country is planning to produce as an alternative to energy derived from fossil fuels. This is especially important as the ongoing rise in demand for energy in the world will only continue to increase in the future.

The energy security crisis has led many countries to search for new sources of energy to secure their future and Thailand is no exception to this. Officials believe the country’s survival depends on clean and environmentally friendly energy sources and that’s why this is an important topic that needs to be addressed in the exhibition.

According to the Alternative Energy Development Plan (AEDP 2018-2037) and the Power Development Plan (PDP 2018), Thailand is aiming to use at least 30% of renewable energy sources by 2037.

With On-Grid solar power plants set to generate 10,000 megawatts and Hydro-floating solar power plants ready to add another 2,725 megawatts over the next two decades, Thailand will be able to produce up to 12,725 megawatts in total, which could make the country fully efficient in the use of clean and eco-friendly energy.

Through the presentation of information designed and decorated with graffiti paintings, visitors will be inspired and see the opportunities available for clean energy in the future. Various art and craft activities have also been arranged in order to make knowledge of clean energy accessible to everyone.

Jaras Lab is on the 3rd floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Pathumwan intersection. It opens 10am to 9pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
