September and October: A new special menu focusing on fresh Phuket lobster is featured at The House of Smooth Curry Thai restaurant. The crustacean is paired with local vegetables, fruits and herbs. Recommende­d are a lobster salad with salak fruit, cashew nuts and chilli paste; stir-fried lobster with black galangal, young peppercorn and garlic, and red lobster curry with noni leaves. September: More than 30 varieties of Cantonese dim sum are on offer at Sui Sian Chinese restaurant’s lunch buffet. Featured dishes include steamed fresh shrimp dumpling; steamed rice noodles rolled with barbecue pork; deep-fried mashed taro with barbecue pork; deep-fried prawn with mayonnaise; double-boiled wonton soup; and steamed salted egg yolk custard buns.
