Zense and Eleven Sports tune in
Zense Entertainment and Eleven Sports were yesterday unveiled as the official TV rights holders for all activities organised by the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) for eight years.
Zense Entertainment has formed a partnership with Eleven Sports, a Britain-based multinational group of sports television channels, to scoop the TV rights for Thai football.
A press conference titled “Thai Football — The Future is You” was told yesterday that the contract covered all Thai men and women’s national and futsal teams, Thai League 1 and 2, FA Cup, League Cup, Regional Football League (T3), Women’s Football League, men and women’s Futsal League, esports and fantasy league events held in the country.
The deal was reported to be worth 9.6 billion baht.
FAT president Pol Gen Somyot Poompunmuang said: “The eight-year contract with Zense will ensure continuation in the development of football in Thailand. It will add a new dimension to Thai football.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in saving Thai football during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially Zense Entertainment for helping us by taking over the live broadcasts of the Thai leagues for the rest of the Thai League season.”

Varavuth Jentanakul said: “Zense Entertainment is the content provider that has been producing many television programmes such as games shows, varieties and sitcoms for the past 10 years.
“This year, we are venturing into sports and have formed a partnership with Eleven Sports to develop sport contents.
“We will be using world-class technology for the live broadcasts and will provide the football fans with quick statistics and analyses during the telecasts.”
Eleven Sports executive chairman Marc Watson said: “We have ready access to viewers in Belgium, Portugal, Poland and Italy in Europe and also Taiwan, Myanmar, Japan and Thailand in Asia.
“Fans will also be able to enjoy Thai football through mobile phone app MyCujoo.”
