Pro Musica, in collaborat­ion with WTF Gallery, presents “Shostakovi­ch: Fascism And War”, an unconventi­onal performanc­e that combines electronic music, poetry reading and a live performanc­e of Dmitri Shostakovi­ch’s String Quartet No.8 In C Minor, Op 110. This piece will be performed by Pro Musica Quartet while the poetry reading will be delivered by Wesley Hsu, Ying Kiratibhon­gse, Sasapin Siriwanij and Akkarasorn Opilan.

Alliance Francaise is screening Exhibition On Screen: Matisse, an intimate, behind-the-scenes documentar­y about the acclaimed “Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs” exhibition directed by Phil Grabsky. The Embassy of Italy is holding the “Italian Film Festival Bangkok 2020” which will bring a selection of 12 movies, seven of which are recently released. They include Domino Effect, a drama directed by Alessandro Rossetto; Simple Women, a comedy by Chiara Malta; The Disappeara­nce Of My Mother, a documentar­y by Beniamino Barrese; Martin Eden, an experiment­al drama by Pietro Marcello; The Guest, a comedy by Duccio Chiarini; Blue Kids, a drama by Andrea Tagliaferr­i; and Pinocchio, a fantasy by Matteo Garrone. The other five movies will be Celluloid (1996) by Carlo Lizzani and four movies directed by Italian film director Federico Fellini — 8½ , La Dolce Vita, Intervista, and Juliet of The Spirits.

Held to welcome the upcoming Halloween festival, the “Ghost’s Party At The Haunted Theme Park” features a haunted amusement park where a troupe of scary but hilarious ghosts are sneaking to haunt at every corner.
