SIRIVANNAVARI X PEANUTS

- STORY: NOKO

Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Woodstock and friends from the Peanuts gang star in Sirivannavari Bangkok’s capsule collection. Created by Charles M Schulz, the beloved canine character was inspired by Spike, a black-and-white mixedbreed dog that became a four-legged member of the Schulz family in the 1930s. Spike was the subject of Schulz’s first published illustration.

The playful Snoopy, known for his “Happy Dance”, is the pet dog and best friend of Charlie Brown, who made their debut in the Peanuts comic strip, published in seven American newspapers, in October 1950.

Embracing the comic strip’s unique spirit, the Sirivannavari X Peanuts Collaborative Collection is a nostalgic invitation to revisit the fun and joy of childhood, with the designs embodying happiness and merriment.

The unisex collection features items such as T-shirts, polo shirts, track suit and pyjamas. The key print features the Peanuts crew in spacesuits exploring “Universe S”.

Schulz’s comic strips began featuring Snoopy on the Moon in the late 1960s. His animations captured public excitement about America’s adventures into space, and established the adventurous pooch as a symbol of exploration. Accessories include bucket hats, tote bags and neckties. Comprising rings, bracelets, and necklaces, the bijoux are simple yet elegant, embellished with the characters of Snoopy and Woodstock as well as the Maison’s iconic S logo. The capsule collection also offers a variety of pet products, including Snoopy’s iconic red dog house, pet cushions in vivid shades of red, yellow and orange, and leather pet collars adorned with a Snoopy Space charm.

Sirivannavari X Peanuts Collaborative Collection is available at Sirivannavari Boutiques at Siam Paragon, King Power Rangnam and at Sirivannavari.com.
