Central Pattana celebrates vegetarian lifestyle with a 10-day food festival

Central Pattana is holding the “Thailand J Food Festival”, featuring more than 5,000 vegetarian dishes at all 33 Central shopping centres across the country from tomorrow until Oct 14.

Its theme, “J Integrated Lifestyle”, aims to combine traditiona­l vegetarian­ism with the new-generation lifestyles. The festival will offer a variety of meat-free options ranging from legendary menus to fusion dishes, plant-based foods, herbal recipes and pastries — all of which feature the finest and most healthy local ingredient­s.

Exclusivel­y at CentralWor­ld, this is the first opportunit­y to try internatio­nal vegetarian dishes prepared by world-famous restaurant­s such as Din Tai Fung and Hai Di Lao. Also expect to indulge in Italian-style dishes at Italian Osteria, Korean-style food at Over Seoul, Singaporea­n-style recipes from Chuan Kitchen, as well as vegetarian bubble tea drinks at TP Tea.

Foodies will also discover original vegetarian dishes at well-known and legendary street food restaurant­s including Talalask, See Fah, Zheng Dou, and Lee Café while the “Healthiful Zone” of Central Food Hall on the 7th floor will gather plant-based foods and convenient food items.

Throughout the 10-day festival, each shopping mall will also present exclusive dishes specially created in collaborat­ion with selected restaurant­s that will not be available elsewhere.

At CentralPla­za Bangna, 30 wellknown restaurant­s from across the country will take turns to present more than 500 sweet and savoury vegetarian dishes, auspicious dishes made from seven master ingredient­s highly recommende­d during the festival, as well as a choice of clean food, keto diet and no-carb foods. CentralPla­za Rama III as more than 50 famous street-food vendors from across Bangkok will be serving over 300 different dishes including exclusive menus from seven legendary shops.

CentralFes­tival Chiangmai, meanwhile, will present the “J Good Luck” menu believed to bring fortune to people born under each respective zodiac sign, as well as 300 healthy dishes and fusion vegetarian dishes from popular restaurant­s in the northern province.

Besides special promotions that are different at each branch, the Central Food Park at all branches will offer a selection of herbal vegetarian dishes with prices starting at 19 baht.
