MINISTRY OF CULTURE SCORES HIGH ON INTEGRITY AND TRANSPARENCY
The Ministry of Culture is ranked number eight from 21 agencies on the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) for 2021. Three agencies under the ministry’s purview also have been hailed as model agencies for integrity and transparency. They are the Department of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Culture’s Office of the Permanent-Secretary and Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre. Permanent-Secretary for Culture Yupha Taweewattanakitborvon said the National Anti-Corruption Commission ranked the Ministry of Culture No.8 out of 21 government agencies on its Integrity and Transparency Assessment. The ministry scored 93.40 points this year and moved up from No.10 last year when it scored 85.46. All units under the ministry achieved higher scores this year.
