Good skincare is balancing act

Three Cosmetics rings in the Year of the Roaring Tiger with limited-edition facial cleansers for wrapping up “A gift of luck”. The packaging design combines lucky symbols in Chinese culture. Balancing Cleansing Oil R and the oil-gel version come in a red bottle and a white tube with a turtoise shell pattern, which represents longevity following the gentle reptile’s long lifespan.

The geometric pattern is based on triangles forming hexagons that refer to all things in good order. Moreover, the auspicious numbers three and six in Chinese characters are hidden in the pattern.

The word tiger, in Japanese instead of Chinese, is also incorporated into the motif to mark the Lunar New Year and the products’ country of origin.

Launched in 2009, Three emphasises a balance of mind, body and skin, and the Balancing line was developed for holistic care.

The bestselling Balancing Cleansing Oil R contains naturally derived ingredients certified by Ecocert and Cosmos Organic. Besides the blend of essential and botanical oils, the formula features extracts from carrot root, tea flower and rock samphire.

Enriched with arjuna bark and nopal cactus extracts, Balancing Cleansing Oil Gel is a mix of blended oils, argan shell powder and white kaolin clay.

Both cleansers provide aromatherapy while gently removing make-up and leaving the skin supple after rinsing them off.
