BETWEEN BEAUTY AND LUXURY

-

Each year, Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates winter with the Diamond Breeze collection. The new lotus-inspired ensemble comprises a between-thefinger ring, a pendant and a pair of earrings set with diamonds.

Sacred in Asia, the lotus flower is a symbol of beauty, purity and completion. It first appeared in the 1920s on Van Cleef & Arpels Egyptian-style creations. In 2001, it bloomed on a between-the-finger ring, which was to become a signature piece within the Lotus collection.

The redesign in 2017 introduced a new way of wearing rings, with a motif that can expand over one or several fingers thanks to an ingenious system.

A floral quartet adorns the new Lotus between-the-finger ring. Delicately sloping upward and subtly positioned at different heights, each petal depicts the infinitesimal motion of a flower in the breeze.

Made up of three asymmetrical flowers, the pendant is crafted with an openwork technique, to create gaps in the golden structure for light to pass through the diamonds, further amplifying their brilliance.

A pair of earrings also sparkle with three flowers, two of which are in contact with the skin while the third corolla is suspended.
