Maison Sirivannavari Bangkok celebrates 16 years with Collection Icône
Drawings by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya have come to life in Collection Icône, created in collaboration with Gems Pavilion to mark the 16th anniversary of Maison Sirivannavari Bangkok.
The creations portray stars, lily of the valley, hummingbirds, sheafs of rice, bows, the sea, and most significantly, the peacock, that have materialised in white or pink gold set with precious stones for the maison’s first high-jewellery collection.
From the 32 designs, seven are oneof-a-kind pieces.
The starry night sky inspires the white gold Icône “S” necklace engraved with stars of various sizes in such a way that projects both strength and delicacy. The pendant with the letter “S” is decorated with three stars, flanked on either side by saltwater pearls. The necklace features a total of 680 diamonds totalling 13.81 carats and two pearls totalling 3.696 carats.
The white gold Aqua necklace, bracelet and earrings sparkle with a total of 210 aquamarines, 661 diamonds and nine pearls. The earrings are detachable, and can also be worn as studs.
The design of the Icône Emerald necklace and earrings resembles a zipper to reflect the brand’s origin as a fashion house.
The necklace shines with one emerald, 22 pearls and 169 diamonds, and the earrings feature two emerald-cut diamonds, 120 diamonds, 22 emeralds and 24 pearls — all arranged in exquisite proportion and harmony.
The collection further includes 25 signature items featuring peacocks, sheafs of rice, bows, birds and stars motifs.
The white gold peacock-shaped La Broche Paon brooch is centred by a 3.516 carat opal and adorned with 418 diamonds.
Echoing the design of a necklace, mismatched earrings — one in the shape of a bow and the other a hummingbird, are inspired by the natural beauty of the French countryside. The earrings shimmer with 157 diamonds, with a pink tourmaline on either side.
Every single precious stone has been carefully selected to suit the design and inspiration of each individual piece, with other gems such as blue sapphires, tourmalines and smoky quartz illuminating the exceptional high jewellery.
