Foreigners get insurance offer

COVID: Health insurance is being made available for purchase by foreign nationals upon arriving in Thailand as security against Covid19, according to the Department of Health Service Support.

Insurance policies can be bought by foreign nationals at airports if the ones they took out overseas do not cover all the costs of Covid-19 treatment, said department director-general Thares Krassanairawiwong.

The policies are being offered by 10 companies.
