BGRIM announces senior management reshuffle

B.Grimm Power Plc PCL (BGRIM) has announced a senior management reshuffle.

The shake-up, which BGRIM’s board of directors endorsed on June 15, resulted in the creation of a new unit to drive the company’s strategy of pursuing investment, innovation and sustainabi­lity.

Nopadej Karnasuta has been selected to lead the new unit. He will focus on three main areas — accelerati­ng investment in new businesses by exploring opportunit­ies for cooperatio­n with domestic and internatio­nal partners, expediting the developmen­t of integrated energy innovation­s to deliver the best value and quality for customers across the whole industry, and extending to users the company’s new solutions in the future while continuing operations towards being a sustainabl­e organisati­on and achieving net-zero emission by 2050.

The management reshuffle saw Mr Nopadej being appointed senior executive vice-president of the investment, innovation and sustainabi­lity division.

Siriwong Borvornboo­n rutai has been appointed executive vice-president in finance and accounting, Cherdchai Yiwlek becomes executive vice-president of business service and project developmen­t, and Saroche Arunpairoj­kul has been made first senior vicepresid­ent of customer relations and operation management.

Harald Link, president of BGRIM, said the new senior management line-up would support the company’s continuous and sustainabl­e business expansion in line with its “Empowering the World Compassion­ately” vision which is geared towards investing in new businesses and the developmen­t of the energy business to be comprehens­ive and modern.

Ms Siriwong, who has also succeeded Mr Nopadej as BGRIM’s chief financial officer, graduated from Thammasat University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has over 25 years of experience in financial management and accounting in the banking and industry sectors.

She has been instrument­al in ensuring BGRIM is a company recognised by both domestic and foreign investors through various investment projects and fundraisin­g.
