Vitamins are at the heart of Laneige’s Radian-C skin-brightening formulas.
Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is widely used as a skincare ingredient because the antioxidant fights free radicals in preventing premature ageing of the skin. The water-soluble vitamin also promotes the production of structural proteins and counteracts hyper pigmentation.
Stable and effective forms of vitamin C, however, can only do the job. Laneige blended vitamin C, its derivative and niacinamide (vitamin B3) in the new Radian-C Spot Serum, enriched with moisturising squalene and soothing caffeine.
The two-layered formulation needs to be mixed by shaking the bottle, then kept in the fridge and used within one month in order to maintain the freshness of the high15.2% content of vitamin C.
A rich concentration of 92% Superberry Complex teams up with vitamin C, its derivative and niacinamide in the refreshing Radian-C Advanced Effector, applied before the watery serum.
Dual cotton pads enhance the skincare benefits of the brightening booster essence. On one side, the cotton with a striped pattern is used to gently swipe on the skin in the morning, while the smooth side is tapped on the skin after cleansing at night.
Laneige teamed up vitamin C derivatives and vitamin E to double the antioxidant effect in the Radian-C Cream, while its exclusive brightening ingredient Melasolv works with ascorbic acid in addressing dullness.
The K-beauty brand has also added a brightening sunscreen containing vitamin C derivatives and patented Melasolv to the Radian-C collection.
Delivering the advantages of chemicaland physical sunscreen, the new Sun Cream protects the skin from UVA and UVB while panthenol and ceramide strengthens the skin’s defence against environmental aggressors.
