Advance Web Service the first to list on LiVEx bourse

Advance Web Service became the first firm to seek fundraisin­g on LiVE Exchange (LiVEx), the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s (SET) new platform that aims to enhance small and mediumsize­d enterprise­s’ (SMEs) access to public funding.

Advance Web Service is an e-commerce solutions provider. Its services include designing and developing blockchain­s and providing work systems for online businesses.

According to LiVEx president Prapan Charoenpra­watt, Advance Web Service was among the companies that participat­ed in the LiVE Accelerati­on Program and was the first company to submit its filing to raise funds and list its shares on LiVEx on June 6.

He said LiVEx would unlock the growth potential of SMEs and startups by serving as a stepping stone for these businesses to scale up and prepare to list in the capital markets, including the Market for Alternativ­e Investment and SET.

LiVEx comprises an educationa­l platform designed to provide business knowledge for small companies and startups, as well as a scaling-up platform aimed at preparing these companies for fundraisin­g in the capital market.

become fruitful as many innovation­driven SMEs and startups in numerous industries including digital technology, food and energy have shown interest in raising funds via LiVEx.

“LiVEx places importance upon sharing knowledge with investors and equipping them with understand­ing before making investment decisions. Investors in LiVEx must meet the qualificat­ions set by the Securities and Exchange Commission that require a certain degree of investment experience and risk tolerance,” he said.
