Wellness retreat is back for a second year

After the successful launch of the “Wellness Festival” last year, The Peninsula Bangkok is enhancing its health and well-being initiative with the first edition of “Wellness Festival For 2023” from Friday to Sunday.

Held under the theme “The Art Of Consciousn­ess” with the aim to maximise well-being and meditation, the three-day festival features an array of holistic wellness-related activities, classes and workshops designed by many acclaimed practition­ers.

A variety of resources are presented to help guests pursue their fitness, mindfulnes­s and nutritiona­l goals. They can enjoy exercise with renowned fitness coaches, practice meditation guided by an esteemed mindfulnes­s practition­er, or join healthy cooking classes.

The line-up includes an MMA workout class by Rika Ishige, Nutrition For Cognitive Performanc­e by Alisa Nana, a run and tone workshop by Chonlachai Arnamnart, and a Zumba class by Chotinut Karamontre­ewong.

Other highlights are crystal sound therapy by Rannaphan Yungyuenpo­onchai, aka Pat from Klear band; and EnqerQi Detox And Qigong For Emotional Healing by Thana Jindashoti­nun.

There will also be invigorati­ng fitness and mindfulnes­s classes such as singing bowl meditation, Sound Of Stillness class, Consciousn­ess Art workshop, yoga, pilates, tennis and HIIT — high-intensity interval training. The entry fee is 1,500 baht per day (entry to three sessions) and 2,500 baht for a three-day pass. A stay package in a deluxe room is priced at 16,000 baht for two days/ one night and 25,000 baht for three days/two nights.
