- — Vanniya Sriangura

Under the theme “Good Coffee For Everyone”, the much-awaited Thailand Coffee Fest 2023 will be held from July 13-16 at Impact Exhibition Hall 5–8 in Muang Thong Thani.

Featuring more than 300 cafes and roasters as well as a wide range of related products and innovative services, the four-day event, a partnership between the Specialty Coffee Association of Thailand and The Cloud, will take over a 20,000m² space across the exhibition’s four halls. It expects to welcome more than 30,000 visitors daily.

It treats coffee drinkers, connoisseurs and proprietors, from Thailand and overseas, to an impressive roster of activities, including a robot barista experience, coffee omakase, Thai coffee showcase, coffee beans competitions, brewers cup competition, ice cream and gelato workshop and stage talks by well-known guest speakers.

Highlighted topics are coffee and art, low temperature and low humidity drying, yeast processing coffee cupping, packaging design and coffee sustainability.

At the event, there is also a line-up of non-coffee exhibitors including bakery shops, farmer’s markets and tree markets.

The eighth edition of the country’s largest annual coffee fair is an environmentally responsible event with a sustainable mindset. Not only does it invite fair-goers to revisit the journey of creating good coffee from the source to the final product and raise awareness about the impact that the coffee industry is facing, but it also practises upcycling and efficient waste categorisation.

The event opens 10am-8pm. There is no admission fee. For more information or to book tickets, call 099198-8887 or visit thailandcoffeefest.org or Facebook: Thailand Coffee Fest.
