Run under the stars in Samui

Central Samui in Surat Thani invites running enthusiasts to join the Samui Neon Run 2024 to vie for a trophy on June 2.

Held in collaboration with the Municipality of Koh Samui, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Tourism Council of Surat Thani, the Tourism Association of Koh Samui and hotel operators, this is the third edition of the vibrant night run that aims to promote tourism on the island and make it a key tourist destination in Asia.

Embracing the Global trend, the event is organised as a new style of sports tourism, attracting runners from across the country and around the world.

Covering a total distance of 5.1 km, the running route starts from Central Samui shopping centre at 7pm. Participants will run past Chaweng beach, Chaweng Garden Beach Resort, Chaweng Regent and Sala Samui before they will head to the finish line, also at the shopping centre.

Along the route, they will experience the unique local lifestyle atmosphere and various exciting activities at night. The first three runners who make it to the finish line will receive a trophy.

The registration fee is 550 baht, including a race shirt and a medal. Places are limited to only 1,000 runners. Registrations should be made via regis.run/race/samuineonrun2024 by May 20.
