CRC sees revenue rise by 6% in Q1

Central Retail Corporatio­n (CRC) revenue increased by 6% to 67.3 billion baht in the first quarter of this year.

Net profit surged 14% to 2.52 billion baht year-on-year.

Yol Phokasub, chief executive of CRC, said sales through omni-channel platforms accounted for 19% of total sales, reflecting growth driven by the company’s strong ecosystem and flexible portfolio.

CRC has transforme­d itself this year, with the highlight being the renovation of Central Chidlom with an investment of more than 4 billion baht, aiming to elevate itself into a global luxury destinatio­n.

The company reaffirmed its position as Vietnam’s No.1 mall and hypermarke­t provider, expanding its GO! malls and GO! hypermarke­ts by three branches this year.

CRC plans to renovate its flagship stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with an expected completion date by the end of 2025.

Mr Yol said these achievemen­ts mark CRC as a leader in the retail and wholesale industries, performing across all business segments and moving forward with sustainabi­lity initiative­s.
