For its 30th year as part­ner and of­fi­cial time­keeper of Mille Miglia, chopard launched com­mem­o­ra­tive mod­els: Mille Miglia 2018 Race Edi­tion, Mille Miglia Rac­ing Colours, and Mille Miglia GTS Power Con­trol Gri­gio Spe­ciale. Com­pet­ing in this Ital­ian en­durance race for vin­tage and clas­sic cars were 440 teams, among them Chopard’s Co-pres­i­dent Karl-friedrich Scheufele, Os­car-win­ning ac­tor Adrien Brody, and former rac­ing icon and six-time 24 Hours of Le Mans win­ner Jacky Ickx. Fin­ish­ing first was team Scud­e­ria Za­gato Chopard with a 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 GS “Testa Fissa” driven by Ar­gen­tinian duo Juan Ton­con­ogy and Bar­bara Ruffini. It was the third time they have won Mille Miglia.
