Poonyatorn or Champ is the first Thai to have founded a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley by co-founding Creative Ventures, a deep-tech venture capital fund that invests in Us-based startups and provides them portfolios with access into Southeast Asia markets. His investment focus is on the industrial, healthcare and agrifood sectors where he sees the greatest opportunities to generate outsized return through partnership with family businesses and conglomerates. Champ also serves as chief strategy officer at his family business Sharp Thai City Electric.
