Pita was suddenly thrust into the leadership role of Agrifood while he was pursuing graduate degrees in Public Policy at Harvard University and an MBA at MIT. His father passed away while setting up the company and it was up to Pita to rescue his family from a staggering 100-million-baht debt. With a lot of gumption, Pita succeeded and the company has become one of the largest rice bran oil producers in the region. He began to branch out to the hi-tech industry by accepting the role as executive director of both regional and global digital startup unicorns.
