Ariya “May” Jutanugarn
Professional Golfer
Born and raised in a family of golfers, May is the first person from Thailand to win a major golf championship and take the number one spot on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. In 2007, at the age of 11, she became the youngest player in history to qualify for a Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour event. In 2017, May became the first Thai winner in LPGA history and the first Asian to be voted “Player of the Year” by the Golf Writers Association of America. This year, May already won three major tournaments, including the Scottish Open and the most prestigious major, the US Open.
