They say there’s no better way to kick-start a new year than making a positive change. That’s why you’ll notice this month’s issue looks, well, quite different – right on cue to ring in 2019 on an exciting note! We’ve given Prestige a complete design makeover to keep up with the times. Our all-new look is stylish, current and typographically progressive, all in the hope of enhancing your reading experience. Regular columns and features are still intact, but you’ll notice a few new additions as we continue to tweak the new design over the coming months. Speaking of style, cover personality and hotel heiress Sikanya “Pau” Saktidej Bhanubandh is consistently one of Bangkok’s best-dressed ladies. And we quickly discovered why during the photo shoot. While Pau is lots of fun to work with – a glass of champagne always in arm’s reach – she is a perfectionist and knows exactly what she wants. There’s inspiration galore to spoil your loved ones over the Festive Season, and ideas on how to spend your down-time. As we come to the end of the year, it’s always a good idea to reflect on the past year; highlights, triumphs and other milestones – and to give ourselves a pat on the back. And looking at the year ahead, I’m going to stick to my little obsession with making lists. There’s such information overload in the society we live in, and lists are my strongest ally to keep track of what I need to and should do – like catching up with old friends, making time for things that make me happy, and travelling to at least one new destination.
