De­cem­ber 13-16 WONDERFRUIT The fifth edi­tion of the glob­ally renowned Thai fes­ti­val re­turns to the field of Siam Coun­try Club on the out­skirts of Pat­taya. The four-day event prom­ises a sus­tain­able cross-cul­tural cel­e­bra­tion of the arts, mu­sic and gas­tron­omy – with both lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional par­tic­i­pants – in an edgy out­door set­ting. De­cem­ber 15 THE RUS­SIAN PIECES Charles Olivieri Mun­roe will be con­duct­ing the Royal Bangkok Sym­phony Orches­tra (RBSO) to hon­our His Majesty King Maha Va­ji­ra­longkorn Bodin­drade­bayavarangkun, Rama X. Pian­ist Poom Prom­machart will also play­ing the three high­light pieces dur­ing the evening: Tchaikovsky’s Pi­ano Con­certo No1 in B-flat mi­nor, Op 23, Mus­sorgsky’s Night on Bare Moun­tain and Stravin­sky’s Fire­bird, Suite.
