Prestige (Thailand)

IN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

-

In case you missed it, last month, our digital team sent out a newsletter informing our readers of the new channels through which Prestige is now available. In that note, I also asked our readers to share with me the things that bring them joy.

In the days following, I was overwhelmed with the emails I received, many of them from beyond our borders. I recall this gentleman from Malaysia telling me how much he loved Thailand, its people and culture, and couldn’t wait to return. In another, I was informed how classical music and Prestige provided great companionship in these extended stay-in periods. And in one particular response, a reader shared a poem on what happiness meant to her. I replied to every one of them and I have to say the communication was so heartfelt.

I reflect on the term ‘happiness’ when I look at our cover personality Chaleeya “Cherry” Pasawongse. This young mother of two radiates sheer joy, not just in every photo, but also as a human being. Cherry’s energy on set, camaraderie with our crew, and her overall outlook on life, is such a refreshing attribute. In a personal conversation with me she revealed that despite everything going around her, she can’t help but feel that she has so much to be grateful for.

I think this attitude is something that we can all adopt in our life. And so, I ask you, in the weeks that have gone by, what are you most thankful for? Let’s internalise on the things in this world that bring true happiness and joy to our lives – like friends and family, a great book, an inspiring trip, or whatever it is that makes you tick.

And finally, we hope you will enjoy indulging in these pages as much as we enjoyed curating and putting it all together especially for you.

Until next time
