VAN GOGH: LIFE AND ART
River City Bangkok’s 2nd floor MODA Gallery presents yet another ticketed multimedia exhibition, this time focusing on the life and art of the legendary Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh. As one of the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art, the large body of work of this eccentric, 19th century post-impressionist is well known to art lovers. However, the extent of this exhibit brings to life, aided by motion graphics and musical accompaniment, many of Van Gogh’s lesser known works as well, including his numerous black and white sketches – projected onto wall-size screens so visitors can better appreciate the dramatic brushstrokes up close. There’s even a lifesize recreation of the artist’s famous painting. As a safety precaution, the maximum occupancy inside the exhibition is limited to 80 visitors at one time.
