An eligible bachelor for many years, Chakrit “Max” Benedetti sure broke a few hearts when he tied the knot earlier this year with his beautiful girlfriend Varisa “Pye” Prathanrasnikorn, in a lavish affair which was touted as the last great celebration before the pandemic lockdown. So, imagine our delight when we had the opportunity to work with him for the August issue cover.
As the third-generation heir and managing director of Italasia, good food and fine wines are just some of the topics that he can claim expertise on. And then, of course, there’s his love for fast cars – which you’ll know of if you’ve seen him snaking through the city in his red Ferrari. It’s safe to say there’s certainly more to this 44-year-old than meets the eye. As a well-bred, intelligent and successful individual, Max is the epitome of a gentleman through and through.
