How important is time to you?
I think it’s safe to say that everyone is on a quest to have more time these days. And personally, I think time is the most valuable, and the most expensive asset anyone can have. In reality, you can’t buy time, you can’t grow time, and you can’t extend or shorten time. That’s why I value time a lot – not just mine, but that of others as well.
How would you define a good watch?
For me a good watch is like an outfit. It’s not about “what you wear”, but “what it says about you.” It should reflect your taste, your choice, and your personality. So, my timepiece must be unique, perfect for my lifestyle and suited to all occasions.
What characteristics do Hublot watches embody?
For me, they are sporty, luxurious and a little flashy – just enough to make anyone feel young, fun and active.
What do you think Hublot and Ferrari have in common?
Well, I think it’s their shared values of striving to be the best at what they do. I mean, they both are leaders in their own arenas. When you think of sports cars, you think of Ferrari, when you think of sports watches, you think of Hublot, so the watches born out of this collaboration represent the best of both worlds. Take the Classic Fusion Ferrari GT, for example, Hublot didn’t just take the design or inspiration from the cars, but the designers of Ferrari actually worked on it just like they do for Ferrari supercars. They even use Schedoni leather – which is the leather they use for the race car seats – for the watchstraps. And Hublot put years of their mechanical watchmaking excellence into the movement. You can see the level of dedication and expertise that both Ferrari and Hublot put into these creations.
